course involved 9 laps of the course opposite for Supersports
(10 for Evolution), totalling 50.4 nautical miles The numbers in the black boxes show
the bearing (direction) we have to race in.
The numbers in the brown circles
show the direction we have to turn to at each laid mark, in terms
of numbers on a clock face. So, the number 3 in the brown circle
at the bottom right of the picture at Mark F means that we had to
turn right to 3 o’clock.
The red arrows show the direction of the course which was
clockwise for each of these laps.
The chequered box represents the
lap line in front of Valletta Grand Harbour.
